MARTIAL ARTS

KUNG FU

Kung Fu is for everyone--men, women, and kids 5 years and older!  This art is taught to help condition inner strength, coordination, and focus.  This system employs open hand and weapons kata from both hard and soft systems to condition and train the body and mind.

Instructor Kirk W. Olsen has studied Martial Arts, both Japanese and Chinese systems, since 1984.  He holds a 2nd-degree black belt in Chinese Shaolin Do and has been training under Master James Halladay, a 6th-degree Black Belt in Shaolin Do.  More information about this art form can be viewed at www.shaolin-do.com

Ba Duan Jin Qigong

Ba Duan Jin Qigong is perfect for all ages.  It is a warm-up session that prepares the student for more strenuous exercise.  It helps increase oxygenation and muscle warming.  This Martial Art also aids in rehabilitating pulmonary and/or orthopedic injuries.  It improves balance, range of motion, muscle stretching, and body awareness.

Yang Tai Chi

Yang Tai Chi is for everyone 14 years of age and older.  This Chinese Martial Art consists of slowly-performed movements designed to promote the flow of energy, and to increase stretching ability, balance, and coordination.  This exercise minimizes stress to joints and body structure.

Instructor Master Mike Muscato  has been training in Martial Arts since 1965, initially, in various Karate, Kung Fu, and Lo Sebatsu Aiki-jujutsu styles.  He has been under the tutelage of Grandmaster Roll since 1983.  Master Muscato holds a current ranking of 6th degree Black Belt.
