Hello and welcome to the Pennbriar Athletic Club tennis information webpage.
My name is Kelly Maslar, USPTR, and I have been the Tennis Director for the past 15 years. Pennbriar is also where I began playing tennis as a junior at age 9, so you could say the Club is most definitely my home away from home.
The Pennbriar Tennis Department is proud to offer twelve full and part-time professionally certified instructors who are also affliated with the USTA and local high school and country club director and coaching positions. Each instructor uniquely represents a piece of the tennis journey for you and your family and we anxiously await for you to begin your Pennbriar tennis experience.
We are pleased to offer the following adult and junior programming:
adult leagues and contract play, instructional group Play Tennis
America, Team Tennis, weekend tournament play and special events,
occasional play, private lessons and clinics, interclub matches, a
year-round Junior Development program, USTA tournaments, Futures Elite
8 singles competition, Parochial/CHAMPS after-school program and
District 10 junior tournaments, USTA National Open, adult prize money
tournament, and the President's Athletic Conference Championships.
